PROJECT WALLFLOWERS
Founded in 2013 by Chilean-German artist Pau Quintanajornet, Project Wallflowers is a global art initiative with a clear mission: to carry colors into the world. At its core, the project is dedicated to empowering individuals and communities, sparking transformation through the beauty of artivism — the fusion of art and activism. Through vibrant and thought-provoking projects, it fosters self-reflection, meaningful dialogue, and connections between people and their environments within an ever-globalizing society.
Project Wallflowers is deeply rooted in community engagement, creating art that transcends barriers and brings people together. By embedding itself in urban and public spaces, the project celebrates the interplay between art and the community, uncovering the dreams, hopes, and untold stories of the people it touches. Whether engaging with locals, neighbors, passersby, or sparking conversations on social media, it thrives on the transformative power of connection and collaboration.
Through its colorful interventions, Project Wallflowers promotes the beauty of artivism as a tool for social change, inspiring unity and reimagining our collective social spaces. Working with local artists, cultural organizations, and community centers worldwide, the project dives deep into the complexities of shared spaces, championing the spirit of creativity and the collective potential of humanity.
To meet the growing needs of its diverse initiatives, Project Wallflowers has expanded into a family of programs: The Blooming Seeds, The Color Wood Movement, C.A.LL.E. , Sobre-Mesas, De Flores y Canto and Through Our Flowers. — Each reflects the project’s philosophy of using art to inspire connection, celebrate diversity, and leave a lasting, positive impact on communities worldwide – Join us in painting the world with color, connection, and dialogue — one wall, one story, and one community at a time.
